We are seeking an experienced and motivated Café Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis (38 hours per week). This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day café operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead and support the café team, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, presentation, and product quality.
  • Open or close the café, including key handling, cash management, and end-of-day reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination.
  • Report directly to the Café Owner and assist with business improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a café or hospitality supervisory role.
  • Must have barista experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Reliable, organised, and a proactive problem solver.

Availability

  • Must be available across our opening hours, including early mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Must be available for a minimum of 2 weekends per month.
  • Flexibility to cover staff absences and busy periods when required.
