About the Opportunity

As our Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful establishment and ongoing leadership of our new service. You'll have the full support of our Regional Manager, Operations Support Manager, and an off-the-floor Assistant Manager and Educational Leader ensuring you're never alone in your leadership journey.

This role gives you the scope to focus on what matters most: leading a high-performing team, creating a culture of collaboration and respect, and fostering meaningful connections with families and the local community.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a confident, people-focused leader with a minimum of 2–3 years' Centre Manager experience. You'll have:

  • A strong knowledge of compliance and the NQF
  • A proactive approach to building teams and culture
  • An authentic leadership style that inspires and develops others
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and making a difference

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the end-to-end setup of the centre, including licensing and compliance processes
  • Managing day-to-day operations with a focus on quality, enrolment growth, and team culture
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a talented team of educators and emerging leaders
  • Building trusted partnerships with families and the wider community
  • Driving continuous improvement and embedding reflective practice across the service
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to ensure long-term sustainability and success

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Centre Manager or in an equivalent leadership role
  • Strong working knowledge of NQF, NQS, and EYLF
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification
  • A strong commitment to child safety and professional practice
