About us
Diversa Trustees Limited (DTL) is a specialist Trustee company focusing on superannuation funds in Australia, including retail master trusts, corporate funds, platform (wraps), Pooled Superannuation Trusts, and insurance only funds.
Diversa has been operating for many years providing trustee services to approximately 24 APRA regulated superannuation funds, with in excess of $8 billion of assets under management.
About the role
To ensure that Diversa Trustees Limited (Diversa) implements and maintains a robust Risk Management Framework with appropriate processes and systems that complies with external regulatory obligations and meets community expectations and industry standards
Key Responsibilities
· Support the General Manager Risk and Compliance in the successful delivery of the Risk program of work including satisfactorily meeting targets, deliverables and timelines.
· Deliver Divera's CPS230 Program of Work.
· Responsible for delivering end-to-end management of Diversa's risk management framework.
· Responsible for maintaining key risk documents as identified by the General Manager Risk and Compliance.
· Responsible for active monitoring of performance against Key Risk Indicators and escalating issues/concerns.
· Responsible for conducting regular reviews of the Risk Management Framework.
· Responsible for preparing all reports for the Members Best Interest Committee (RMBIC), and the Trustee Board as required.
· Responsible for the end-to-end management of all risk registers.
· Responsible for delivering the end-to-end management of the internal and external audit process.
· Provide SME risk advice and support to the first line to successfully deliver a compliant Risk Management Framework and support a positive risk culture.
Knowledge and Experience
· Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Risk Management or significant relevant industry experience
· Post-graduate / industry certifications in related areas will be well regarded
· Significant experience (5 years +) in regulatory compliance, risk management, legal and/or audit functions
· Financial Services Industry experience, particularly in relation to superannuation and managed funds
· Experience with CPS 230 in superannuation is an essential requirement
