Working collaboratively with all key stakeholders including individual jobseekers and employers, as a **Vocational /Employment Consultant** within AMS Consulting you will assist individuals who have sustained an injury or illness in the process of gaining new employment and supporting independent job seeking and placing into new employment. This role works in conjunction with a range of stakeholders to deliver a range of new employer return to work solutions.

You will be initially based from our AMS Consulting head office in **Carlton, VIC moving to coverage of varied and linked satellite offices.**

**The responsibilities are (but not limited to)**:
- Delivering individual services, including assessments for the purpose of the role and supporting jobseekers in suitable new employment preparation.
- Provide links to employment for injured workers returning to work.
- Source vacancies that align with existing jobseeker profiles & vocational goals.
- Develop new employer relationships to expand the vacancy pipeline and referral base and engage directly with employers to understand staffing needs.
- Marketing and reverse marketing to employers to identify hiring opportunities, generate vacancies and promote jobseekers and injured workers returning to work.
- Ensuring all administrative requirements is adhered to including all written reports and case notes.
**To be successful, you have**:
- Bachelor Degree or higher
- 2+ years’ experience in either/or:
- Recruitment,
- Job Placement / Employment Services,
- Sales / Account Management, - Insurance (Workcover),
- Training
- Computer literate in a Windows operating system environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation and/or Vocational Rehabilitation
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to manage and maintain the quality of their work whilst working and completing competing priorities. The successful incumbent will be able to work efficiently and effectively without losing sight of the purpose of the role, control of the fundamental properties of our business and understanding the importance of our ISO accreditation.
**Salary**: $70.000-$80.000
