Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Levyl. Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

The Company

Boasting a portfolio of several state-of-the art venues, our client has a reputation as one of the most diverse and dynamic hospitality and entertainment companies in Western Sydney, offering their substantial membership base a broad range of facilities at which to eat, drink and celebrate. With a community-centric approach focused on delivering exceptional service, they are highly respected, high-performing and have a legacy within the Southwest Sydney area.

The Leaders

This role will report to a People & Culture Manager who is supportive and passionate. You'll join a collaborative team that fosters growth and development through training, encouraging ambition every step of the way.

The Opportunity

As the Learning and Development Advisor, you'll be the linchpin in helping to create, deliver, and continuously improve L&D initiatives. You'll collaborate with leaders and staff, helping them to grow and develop in their roles. This is an exciting, varied role where you'll be actively involved with teams at all levels, whether it's front-line staff or executive management, delivering tailored training solutions that align with operational goals.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Design and deliver engaging L&D programs that directly support the company's operational excellence.
  • Forge strong, collaborative relationships with key operational leaders to identify and address learning needs.
  • Create dynamic training materials covering customer service, leadership, and operational functions.
  • Lead and deliver induction, leadership development, and hands-on learning initiatives.
  • Conduct engaging workshops, toolbox talks, and on-the-floor coaching sessions.
  • Foster a continuous learning culture across all venues, ensuring that training programs evolve with business needs.
  • Measure training outcomes and proactively suggest improvements to maximise their effectiveness.
  • Be present on the ground, supporting and coaching staff and management at various sites.

About You

You're a proactive, hands-on individual who thrives in an operational, service focused environment. Whether you're from a HR Generalist, L&D Coordinator, or a similar background, this role will excite you as it is an opportunity to step into a passionate team and a specialised L&D role. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact by developing practical, results-oriented learning solutions.

Ideally, you will:

  • Have experience in L&D within a high-volume, customer-facing environment (hospitality, retail, or similar).
  • Enjoy being out on the floor, engaging directly with staff, and leading by example.
  • Have a knack for solving problems in real-time and finding practical learning solutions on the go.
  • Be adaptable, resilient, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.

Above all, you are a passionate advocate for continuous learning and development. You enjoy the challenge of balancing multiple priorities and are dedicated to supporting and upholding the company's values and culture.

The Process

The selection process will consist of an initial consultation with a Levyl consultant followed by two interview stages. You'll meet with the People & Culture Manager and potentially a member of the Operations team. We're committed to making the process as smooth as possible, and we're happy to accommodate any requirements you may have to help you perform your best.
