Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Hybrid Accounts Assistant & Customer Service professional to join our team in Riverstone, New South Wales. This full-time role is essential in supporting our manufacturing and production operations by managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and enhancing customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall efficiency of our business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable data entry
  • Monthly Reconciliation of Statements
  • Weekly payroll (with assistance)
  • Professional handling of creditor account enquiries
  • Accurately enter customer orders and job details into the system
  • Answer phone calls and emails, assisting customers with inquiries
  • Help coordinate deliveries and update customers on order progress
  • Check order details to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate with internal teams and suppliers to track job status
  • Assist with general accounts, customer service and office administration tasks as needed
  • Contribution to improving policy, procedure and processes

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in accounts administration
  • Payroll experience
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Payroll Software (Employment Hero), Accounting Software (Xero, Business Central)
  • Data based Customer Service experience (in manufacturing is a positive advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A positive attitude, reliability, great work ethic and ability to work well in a team.
