About the role
Join the Australian Aged Care Group as a Part-time Personal Support Worker in Mount Eliza, VIC 3930. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate care and support to our elderly residents, enabling them to live with dignity and independence.
What you'll be doing
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal care, grooming, and mobility
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their wellbeing
- Monitor and report on residents' physical, emotional, and social needs
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalised care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on resident care
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
What we're looking for
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care to elderly individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of our residents
