We are seeking a Food Service Assistant for our Mornington Home to work on a Casual basis.
About the role
As a Food Service Assistant you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety.
You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.
What You Will Do
- Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
- Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
- Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
- Understanding residents special dietary requirements
- Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
- Understand and execute infection control initiatives
What You Will Bring
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Previous experience in Kitchen operations
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
- Provide NDIS clearance, Rights to Work and up to date COVID & Flu vaccinations
