Maternity Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Midwife to join our team at Alpine Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering clinical maternity services, including antenatal care in our Community Antenatal Clinic, postnatal community-based Domiciliary visits and Early Parenting and Childbirth Education classes.
About the Role:As a Registered Midwife with Alpine Health, you will play a key role in supporting parents from Alpine communities with antenatal and postnatal services. You will work collaboratively with our team of health professionals, including local midwives and GP Obstetricians, to provide comprehensive and safe care to our clients.
Responsibilities:- Providing patient-centered care across a range of contexts, including antenatal, postnatal, breastfeeding, classes, groups, home and service-based care.
- Performing self-assessment of scope of practice and competence, related to assigned responsibilities.
- Being accountable for the care provided and for their own actions within the scope of practice.
- Current Registration Certificate from AHPRA
- Demonstrated evidence of ongoing personal and professional development
- Driver's License valid in Victoria
- Established capacity or enthusiasm to gain capacity for working within rural health settings
- Experience or willingness to learn community midwifery skills and to work independently
