The role

As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a motivated Trainee Hose Technician to join our dynamic team at our Bibra Lake Head Office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to build a long-term career in the hydraulic and industrial hose industry.

You'll be supported by highly skilled professionals who will guide and train you, ensuring you have every opportunity to succeed and progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture hoses from components of both hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings
  • Swaging/crimping of end connections using hydraulic machines
  • Pressure testing hydraulic and industrial hoses
  • Identify, measure and cut hoses accurately using workshop tools and equipment
  • Support technicians with fittings, couplings and component installation
  • Stock handling, inventory and preparation of hose kits for projects and clients
  • Job recording, documentation and reporting
  • Use of various hand and power tools

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence using basic power tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • (Advantageous but not essential) Knowledge of industrial hoses, hydraulic hoses, fittings, or components
