MOBILE HOSE TECHNICIAN
to join our dynamic team

Position Overview:

As a Mobile Hose Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers and clients at Hose Mate to ensure any onsite issues they encounter are solved. You will be responsible for responding to customer breakdown situations, manufacturing and install hydraulic hoses, and component installation and replacement work as required. This is a hands-on role, requiring problem solving and critical thinking, at times involving after hours and weekend work. This role will be a balance between on-site warehouse and workshop duties at Hose Mate as well as off-site servicing to our customers and clients throughout the Perth region.

Role / Requirements:

• Experience & Qualifications
  : Preference for hydraulic hose experience or a relevant qualification, with a mechanical background.
• Service Vehicle Management
  : Operate and maintain a service vehicle (available for take-home use) to attend hydraulic breakdowns and perform installations.
• Service Excellence
  : Deliver high-quality hydraulic services to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Sales & Business Development
  : Proactively drive sales growth by developing new and existing customer relationships.
• Fault Diagnosis
  : Efficiently diagnose hydraulic issues and determine effective solutions.
• Communication Skills
  : Demonstrate strong communication skills, with confidence and a client-focused approach.
• Operational & Time Management
  : Exhibit excellent operational skills, with the ability to self-manage time and workflow while meeting company objectives and standards.
• Availability
  : Willingness to work regular overtime and participate in an after-hours "on-call" rotation, including weekends.

General Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment, as well as maintaining personal hygiene to a high standard.
• Represent Hose Mate (WA) Pty Ltd respectfully and professionally in all interactions.
• Respectfully represent Hose Mate (WA) Pty Ltd in your role.
• Any other tasks as required.

You will directly report to the General Manager and Managing Director, who will provide guidance and oversight to ensure smooth operations.
