NES Fircroft are currently supporting a leading global provider of specialist subsea rental equipment, who are currently looking for a Trainee Survey Technician to join their Perth Operations.  Position: Survey Technician

Location: Landsdale WA

Details

  • Preparing and testing of equipment prior to rental and post hire.
  • Function testing, software / firmware updates, cable integrity.
  • Ensuring completeness of equipment against packing lists.
  • Checking, inspecting, and documenting equipment returned from hire.
  • Visual inspection, function testing and writing technical reports.
  • Identification of inhouse or external repair tasks.
  • Preparing all assets to ensure they are ready for delivery to clients at short notice.
  • General warehouse and delivery duties.
  • Checking, inspecting and documenting equipment on mobilisation.
  • Setup, interface, function test on mobilisation.
  • Troubleshoot to successful conclusion.
  • Assist offshore survey team as required.
  • Demobilise, check, inspect and document equipment prior to dispatch back to base.
  • Attend Offshore training and undergo an Offshore medical.
