Position Highlights

The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.

This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Monday, 21 July 2025. This position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for the remainder of the 2025 school year.

  • an additional coordinator allowance on top of your base salary

About You

As an Acting Coordinator 2, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

  • lead and support K-6 teams in implementing Inquiry Learning pedagogy to enhance teaching and learning in Geography and History
  • lead and facilitate initiatives that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) education, including cultural understanding and curriculum integration
  • create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
  • utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
