**About the Opportunity**

The Swimming Pool Officer presents a valuable opportunity to contribute to public safety and regulatory compliance within the community. As a Swimming Pool Officer, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of swimming pools to ensure adherence to the Swimming Pools Act 1992, associated Regulations, and standards. Your duties will include enforcing these legislative requirements, delivering certification and compliance services, and implementing Council’s Swimming Pool Inspection Program. You will also promote awareness and provide professional advice in relation to swimming pool safety standards among residents and stakeholders.

**What We Are Looking For**
- At least 12 months experience as a Building Surveyor/Swimming Pool Inspector or similar role
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying and/or Swimming Pool Certification
- A thorough understanding of the Swimming Pools Act 1992
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
