Then Brismark, a member-based services organisation located on Brisbane's southside, is looking for someone like you to join our team as our IR and Member Services Officer.

Reporting to our WHS and Member Services Manager, your role will be rewarding, varied, and you will be responsible for:

  • Provide generalist IR/HR Advice and assist with HR support activities and issues to meet stakeholders' business needs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the relevant business based Collective or Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards (particularly annual wage rates), legislative requirements/changes, employment laws relevant to the market and associated businesses.
  • Liaise with internal and external training providers in the delivery and administration of training courses.
  • Manage the scheduling, delivery, and billing of relevant training courses/workshops/events as per the annual Brismark Training Calendar and at the direction of the WHS and Member Services Manager.
  • Assist Members to with their recruitment needs.

This a diverse role and requires a person who has the ability to manage multiple demands and high level reporting to the WHS and Member Services Manager. The successful candidate will need:

  • Customer focus
  • Strong writing/reporting skills
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills
  • The ability to work part of a team.

The role is an office-based, full-time role with early starts (7am to 3.30pm), however this may change on occasion due to operational requirements.
