The Opportunity

The Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology within the School of Biomedical Sciences is seeking to appoint suitably qualified Assistant Lecture/Demonstrators to contribute to the facilitation of undergraduate classes (laboratory sessions, tutorials and workshops) as part of a team of anatomy educators, under the supervision of the Director of the Centre for Human Anatomy Education.

The Assistant Lecturer/Demonstrator will contribute to academic activities, such as resource preparation, delivery of new class material, student marking and feedback, as well as attending additional training sessions and seminars outside of assigned class times. We are seeking someone with a health professional/clinical degree that includes substantial training in whole-body human anatomy (e.g., Medicine, physiotherapy) who can demonstrate clinical practice experience within the last two years. Only applicants with these skills and qualifications will be considered for this position.

If you believe you fit this profile, we look forward to receiving your application.

Hear from some of our demonstrators and see key dates for recruitment. We are currently recruiting for Semester 1, 2026. There may be the opportunity to extend employment.
