- One full-time (Acute Care) and one part-time (0.8FTE) three year fixed term contracts
- Salary Range: (Level A) $74,385 - $99,759 (Level B) $104,838 - $123,873 pro rata per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
**About the Role**
This position is responsible for contributing to the teaching, scholarship and professional activities of the Academic Unit. The focus of this position will primarily be on coordination and teaching in the Physiotherapy discipline, however, due to an increased focus on multidisciplinary teaching, the position may be required to work with multidisciplinary student groups. The Lecturer utilises contemporary professional/discipline-related knowledge in their teaching practice and carries out activities to develop scholarly expertise.

**Core Responsibilities**
Teaching Academic Level A
- Contribute to the development and delivery of courses (as appropriate) and work with the team in the development of program change and innovation including flexible and online delivery
- Undertake course coordination (as required)
- Facilitate the connections between research and teaching and vice versa
- Actively contribute to Academic Unit and University activities, particularly in relation to planning and administration
Teaching Academic Level B
- Develop, coordinate and deliver courses on campus, offshore, online or via other appropriate methods
- Work collaboratively and reciprocally with staff in other Academic Units and partner organisations to ensure that courses contain quality content which represents contemporary practice and theory
- Facilitate the connections between research and teaching
- Create, foster and enhance national and international links with relevant industry, business, university and community bodies that assist the advancement of University and Academic Unit objectives
- Undertake course coordination duties (as required)
**Essential Skills and Experience**
Teaching Academic Level A
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, together with registration or eligibility for registration as a Physiotherapy in Australia
- Clinical practice experience and leadership as a Physiotherapist
- Demonstrated ability to undertake teaching and supervision of Physiotherapy
- Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal ability, written and oral communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a diverse team
- High level administrative and organisational skills
Teaching Academic Level B
- Postgraduate qualification together with registration and / or eligibility for registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia
- Clinical practice experience and leadership as a Physiotherapist
- Demonstrated ability to undertake teaching duties including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources
- Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and external stakeholders, combined with cultural sensitivity
- Demonstrated commitment to continual professional and personal development
