The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a vital role in keeping stock accurate, pallets moving efficiently, and operations running smoothly across production and distribution.
What you'll do:
Inventory Management
- Keep accurate records of raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress.
- Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes, resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement and production.
- Ensure accurate, timely data entry into inventory systems (ERP/WMS).
Pallet Control
- Track pallet movements across inbound, storage, and outbound areas.
- Monitor usage and quality, reporting any damaged or non-compliant pallets.
- Coordinate pallet returns and exchanges with suppliers and customers.
- Reduce pallet loss through strong controls and accurate documentation.
Reporting and Compliance
- Generate inventory and pallet reports for management and audits.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and external regulations related to inventory and pallet handling.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining best practices in inventory control and pallet management processes
What you'll Bring:
- Strong problem-solving skills for stock and inventory issues
- Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and inventory systems
- Experience with stocktakes, reconciliations, and pallet tracking
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance standards related to inventory and pallet handling
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 2–3 years' experience in inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Certificate III/IV in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
