Job description:

Empowering You Disability Services provides a range of support services tailored to individuals with disabilities, including personal care assistance, transportation assistance, companionship, and skill-building activities.

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and proactive NDIS Support Workers to join our growing team in Hervey Bay and Maryborough. You will provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants in the community and/or at home, depending on their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal care (e.g., showering, dressing, toileting)
  • Domestic assistance (e.g., cleaning, cooking, laundry)
  • Community access (e.g., attending appointments, social outings, shopping)
  • Transportation assistance
  • Supporting independence and skill development
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress notes

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in disability, aged care, or a similar role (preferred but not essential)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a person-centred approach
