You Queensland is seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team working on the Fraser Coast and surrounds.

In this role, you will provide personalised care and support to individuals with diverse disabilities, focusing on their specific goals. You will support participants within their home and the community. Your efforts will ensure their safety, well-being, and empowerment while actively supporting their aspirations and participation in the community.

The successful candidates will be completing duties including:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as daily hygiene and getting dressed
  • Helping with household chores, such as cooking, laundry and cleaning
  • Taking clients grocery shopping
  • Transporting clients to medical appointments
  • Providing social support to clients and helping them engage in social activities
  • Assisting clients to reach their goals
  • building clients capacity

These are casual positions with hours to suit your availability as well as our clients needs. You will be supplied with the tools to complete your role affectively and support from our experienced team.

This role requires you to have the following:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Card
  • Working with Children Blue Card
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Police Clearance
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Minimum Certificate III Individual Support or similar
  • A reliable and road worthy vehicle with full comprehensive insurance

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.79 – $43.08 per hour

Work Location: In person
