Children's Contact & Support Supervisor

Casual | Adelaide, SA | $51.81/hr + penalties + travel reimbursement

Little Petal is seeking a Children's Contact & Support Supervisor to join our Adelaide-based team. This role is ideal for a qualified Social Worker, Psychologist, or related professional who can commit to after-school hours and weekends (minimum 3 hours/week, up to 10 hours/week).

This opportunity may particularly suit:

  • Semi-retired professionals seeking meaningful casual work.
  • Practitioners already working part-time elsewhere who would like to add regular, predictable hours.
  • Professionals wanting to continue applying their skills in a highly flexible and rewarding role.

About the Role

As a Children's Contact & Support Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise court-ordered visits between children and parents/family members.
  • Ensure child safety and wellbeing through impartial, professional practice.
  • Write detailed case notes and court-ready reports, meeting strict deadlines.
  • Communicate with solicitors, child therapists, and other professionals.
  • Travel to visit locations as required (travel reimbursed).

This role requires reliability, impartiality, and a strong child-centred approach.

What We're Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Current registration or membership with a professional body (e.g. AASW, APS, AHPRA).
  • Strong report-writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain impartial in high-conflict situations.
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Completed Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse & Neglect training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Driver's licence and willingness to travel.

What We Offer

  • Casual SCHADS Award Level 3.4 classification.
  • $51.81 per hour (as at July penalty rates for weekends/after-hours.
