About the role:
Working onsite with our global, technologies client based in Southbank, the Assistant Workplace Lead supports the ANZ Workplace Lead in overseeing daily operations of our corporate workplace environment, covering four sites across Australia and New Zealand. This role ensures optimal functionality, exceptional employee experience, and alignment with organisational objectives whilst serving as a key contact for workplace-related matters.
A snapshot of the role:
Deliver superior customer service and maintain regular client communication
Manage 2 direct reports
Oversee contractor performance and assist with vendor procurement processes
Manage purchase orders, invoice verification, and workplace budget optimisation
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Implement best practice operations and oversee daily workplace functions
Maintain premises in excellent condition and provide reception support
Coordinate kitchen operations, consumables, and meeting room bookings
Support property risk management and business continuity planning
Follow escalation procedures and incident reporting protocols
Ensure compliance with JLL business conduct guidelines and procedures
What you will bring
We're seeking a professional with strong customer service experience who can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels whilst maintaining excellent organisational standards. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work autonomously in a dynamic corporate environment.
Strong customer service focus with professional yet friendly corporate presentation
Excellent time management, organisational skills, and team collaboration abilities
Confident communication with all stakeholder levels from executives to contractors
Current NV1 security clearance (or willingness to obtain and maintain)
Problem-solving capabilities with flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing situations
