**About the role**:
Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team within a complex industrial environment.
The Business Partnering and Workplace Relations Division comprises of human resources generalists and workplace relations specialists who provide end-to-end advice and support on all employee and industrial relations matters. The division is primarily focused on assisting Victoria Police in managing its workforce of over 22,000 employees, in line with certified industrial agreements and employment legislation. This includes providing high level advice and support on employees' working conditions and entitlements, managing complaints associated with workplace conflict, bullying and VPS misconduct, undertaking organisation reviews and realignments and redeploying sworn and VPS employees to suitable employment.
As a member of the Assessments and Investigations team, you will case manage complex workplace relations matters including bullying and misconduct matters, organisational change and industrial disputes, including through to advocacy at various tribunals.

**Your duties will include**:
- Providing high level strategic workplace relations advice and guidance to a diverse range of internal clients;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including unions;
- Representing Victoria Police at external jurisdictions including tribunals for which you will lead or contribute to submissions as required;
- Modelling proactive end to end case management of complex workplace relations matters including bullying, harassment, conflict resolution and misconduct matters;
- Providing an industrial lens to organisational reviews, restructures and realignments;
- Fostering a learning culture within the division through contributing to ongoing professional development to ensure contemporary workplace relations knowledge; and
- Leading or being involved in major projects, as required.
**About You**:
- Demonstrated workplace relations experience within a complex organisation;
- Proven record in achieving resolution of complex workplace relations issues in a unionised environment;
- Strong case management expertise in dealing with matters such as bullying, harassment, conflict and misconduct;
- Experience advising on the industrial implications of organisational change;
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups across all levels;
- Strong working knowledge of current employment legislation including EBA and policy interpretation; and
- Resilience, pragmatism, innovation and a passion for continued learning.
