Company Description

Job Description
  • Manage and deliver local projects from strategy to detailed drainage design and delivery.
  • Communicate with internal/external stakeholders and assist in project delivery across various sectors.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, designers, and drafters; collaborate across engineering disciplines.
  • Apply drainage engineering expertise to contribute to project design and delivery in diverse markets.
  • Lead client-facing projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Develop project leadership and design management skills while influencing office culture.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering & CPEng (highly regarded)
  • Strong client focus, high level of motivation and dedication and the ability work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and communicate with various stakeholders
  • An appetite for fast-paced project delivery, and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Ideally, demonstrated experience with drainage modelling and design packages such as DRAINS, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), RORB, XPRAFTS, URBS, 12d, MUSIC, GoldSim, IQQM, TUFLOW etc.
  • Good working knowledge of ARR 2019, TMR Drainage Manual, and QUDM.
