Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Drainage Engineer to join our team in Adelaide, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering local projects from strategy to detailed drainage design and delivery.

Key responsibilities include communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, assisting in project delivery across various sectors, mentoring and guiding junior engineers, designers, and drafters, and collaborating with engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate will apply expertise in drainage engineering to contribute to project design and delivery in diverse markets. They will also lead client-facing projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering are essential, preferably with CPEng accreditation. Strong client focus, high level of motivation, and dedication to delivering excellent results in a dynamic environment are also required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, are essential. A proactive approach to fast-paced project delivery, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, is also necessary.
