We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our busy allied health and specialist medical practice in East Victoria Park. If you're passionate about patient care, skilled in healthcare administration, and confident using medical practice software, this role is for you.

The Role

This medical reception position is at the heart of our clinic — you'll be part of the client liaison team, assist with appointment bookings, and provide high-quality administrative support for both specialist and allied health services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage phone enquiries and appointment scheduling
  • Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals, and medical specialists
  • Process Medicare claims, private health claims, and patient payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure privacy compliance
  • Handle referrals, reports, and medical correspondence
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team

About You
  • Proven medical receptionist experience in allied health and/or specialist practice
  • Confident with medical software and Office 365 suite
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Professional, calm, and patient-focused approach
  • Knowledge of Medicare billing (advantageous)
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification required
  • Understanding of NDIS processes and requirements (highly desirable)
