We are seeking a proactive and organised Intake and Support Officer to join our dedicated team. This full-time role is integral to the smooth operation of our services, ensuring participants receive timely, coordinated, and compassionate support from the very first contact.

About the Role:

As the Intake and Support Officer, you'll be the key link between participants, support workers, and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle general enquiries and provide follow-up support to participants and families
  • Coordinate onboarding and prepare associated documentation for new participants
  • Manage rostering of Support Workers to ensure effective service delivery
  • Identify recruitment needs and assist with screening of candidate resumes
  • Conduct phone interviews and schedule face-to-face interviews
  • Collate required documentation for onboarding and liaise with management for employment processing
  • Review case notes and assist with incident reporting, ensuring information aligns with participant support plans
  • Provide administrative and operational support across the organisation as required
  • Develop and maintain person-centred support plans in collaboration with participants, their families, and key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with participants, families, and staff to address concerns, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead the implementation and oversight of staff induction and ongoing training programs to ensure alignment with participant needs, NDIS requirements, and internal policies.
  • Supervise staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and promote a culture of accountability and growth.

You'll work closely with our Directors and the Development and Growth Manager to ensure seamless service delivery, maintain a positive team culture, and support the development of strong relationships within the disability community.
