As Safety Officer, you'll have the opportunity to work on large scale construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety are upheld. This role offers the chance to be part of complex builds while working with a collaborative team in an environment that values your contribution and professional growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE

  • Conduct site inductions
  • Review and monitor contractors' SWMS
  • Oversee general site safety
  • Lead site safety meetings
  • Analysing site practice and implementation of improved practices
  • Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
  • Help promote WHS&E awareness on site
  • Ensure compliance with the all Site Management Plans
  • Maintain all WHS&E records for the project.
  • Work with contractors and site teams to eliminate and reduce workplace risks

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent Tertiary Qualification
  • Sound understanding of WHS&E Legislation and Regulations
  • Previous experience in a Safety Advisor Role on large Construction Projects
