This Head Office role is based in the vibrant Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park (NSW), offering a hybrid work environment (3 days per week, including 2 days WFH), giving you the perfect balance of flexibility and team connection in a supportive, dynamic environment.

We're seeking an experienced
Food Safety & Regulations Manager
to oversee our food safety systems, regulatory compliance, and sustainability programs across Australia and New Zealand.

This role ensures our brands meet all food safety, nutrition, labelling, and sustainability legislation — supporting our franchise network to deliver safe, high-quality products every day.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Product & Procurement, you'll:

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Foodco's food safety programs and HACCP.
  • Oversee training, documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance across all stores using the SafetyCulture system.
  • Liaise with food authorities, auditors, and health inspectors as the key compliance contact.
  • Manage product testing, nutritional and allergen compliance, and legislative updates.
  • Advise internal teams on food claims, packaging, and sustainability legislations (APCO).
  • Support new product development through allergen risk management, shelfs life and microbiological testing.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of FSANZ standards and food safety legislation.
  • Proven experience managing HACCP programs and supplier compliance.
  • Confident presenter with excellent communication and training skills.
  • Experience in franchising, food service, or QSR industries.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confident working cross-functionally.
