About the Role

We are looking for motivated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our expanding team.

You will support participants across centre-based day programmes and community activities, helping them reach their personal goals while enjoying meaningful, social, and skill-building experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide active support to participants in line with their individual NDIS plans.
  • Facilitate fun and engaging centre-based activities (art, cooking, fitness, music, etc.).
  • Support participants in the community — including social outings, appointments, and recreation.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks (where required).
  • Encourage independence, choice, and inclusion for all participants.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and incident reports.

About You

You're a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic person who thrives on helping others live their best lives. You bring empathy, respect, and teamwork to everything you do.

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services (or equivalent experience)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Check (current or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle
  • Fully insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills and a person-centred approach
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including some weekends and community events

Desirable:

  • Experience with high physical or behavioural support needs
  • Manual handling or medication administration training
