Staff required for 2 female clients. One in Ambervale and one in Ruse. The shifts will be the following. If you don't have this availability then please do not apply.

AMBERVALE

Mondays 3pm-7pm

Tuesdays 3pm-7pm

Wed, Thurs, Fri - 7am-9.30am and 4.30pm-7pm

RUSE

Tuesdays 10am-2pm

**THE ROLE**

The key purpose of the Support Worker is to assist and support participants with activities of their daily living. Our Support Workers focus on enabling participants to live independently by supporting their goals and promoting their personal development
Assistance provided to participants can include, but is not limited to:

- Personal hygiene & grooming, including washing/showering
- Outings such as shopping & attending appointments
- Home care/housekeeping duties (e.g. household cleaning, laundry, etc.)
- Assisting with eating & drinking
- Encourage and assist participants to take part in local community activities (e.g. cinemas, concerts and sporting events).

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE**

MENTAL HEALTH EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY REGARDED

You must be very friendly, respectful, and understanding.

Working smartphone and ability to learn relevant industry software.
NDIS Worker Induction Module (certificate) or willing to obtain.
NDIS Worker COVID-19 Training Module. (certificate) or willing to obtain.
Current NSW driver license (minimum P2).
Ability to undergo a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screener Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

COVID vaccination.

Right to work in Australia.

**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**

Previous experience in community care.
