We are seeking an exceptional Associate Director to drive growth in the market, lead strategic client relationships, and help us achieve our ambitious growth targets over the coming years. Due to increasing demand for our Infrastructure Digital – Data and Analytics services, this role will play a critical part in expanding our capabilities and delivering data excellence across our team and client engagements. We are looking for a commercially and technically minded leader with a proven track record of delivering successful data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing relationships and providing technical guidance across a multidisciplinary team spanning data visualisation, automation, infrastructure, data science, and systems implementation.
The Role
As the Associate Director, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leverage a strong technical background to effectively engage with both clients and technical teams.
- Lead client engagements, define delivery strategies, and provide technical assurance across complex data and analytics projects.
- Manage and deliver system deployments across critical PMO functions, including cost control, schedule management, and risk mitigation.
- Design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions in collaboration with clients and internal teams to generate actionable insights and enhance performance.
- Produce comprehensive design documentation and technical specifications, including functional and non-functional requirements and end-to-end data processes.
- Lead and contribute to business development initiatives, including the preparation of proposals and client presentations.
- Cultivate new client relationships while maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships.
- Oversee the development and deployment of data systems and pipelines, ensuring data quality and resolving any related issues.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Create high-quality communications, reports, and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Champion innovation and growth by mentoring team members and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal documentation, processes, and knowledge-sharing practices.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience implementing data reporting and dashboarding solutions
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
- Hands-on experience designing or implementing data architecture, particularly within the Azure data stack
- Proficiency in analytics languages such as SQL or Python
- A strong understanding of Project and Program management tools e.g. EcoSys/Contruent/Planview/Planisware/ InEIght/ Oracle Aconex/ Unifier
- Exceptional communication skills – able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
- Familiarity with data science approaches and best practices
- Experience translating Azure data solution designs into actionable implementations
- Background in requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation of data platforms
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., software engineers, DevOps, infrastructure, data scientists)
- Exposure to Digital Twin, BIM and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions
