About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Retail Manager to join the team at SportsPower Mudgee. This full-time position is based in Mudgee, NSW, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our busy retail store operations. As Retail Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our business and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage all day-to-day retail store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing retail team to achieve sales targets and business objectives
  • Implement effective merchandising and visual display strategies to maximise product visibility and sales
  • Analyse sales data and customer trends to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure the store maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety
  • Foster a positive, customer-centric culture within the store
  • Collaborate with the broader business to contribute to the overall success of SportsPower Mudgee

What we're looking for

  • Substantial experience in a retail management role, preferably within the sports or consumer goods industry
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams to achieve sales and operational targets
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a seamless shopping experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both customers and internal stakeholders
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Retail Management, Business, or a related field would be highly regarded
