Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Duty Manager at
Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Life Saving Club
. The Duty Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth running of the facility. Key tasks include coordinating rostering, handling customer inquiries, maintaining safety standards, and conducting regular inspections of the facilities. The Duty Manager will also be expected to manage resources efficiently and report on operational performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and staff management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks and coordinate scheduling
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in a sports and recreational facility
  • Experience in operations management and resource allocation
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Sports Administration, or related field
