It started with a family and their challenge to find disability support that worked for them. They needed more, and knew that people with disability could have more independence, choice and control in their lives. The Hireup purpose was born, and now we strive to enable the pursuit of a good life for everyone.

We're Hireup, and we've supported thousands of clients and employed support workers across Australia. What you'll do - General Manager, Disability
As, General Manager, Disability, you are responsible for the leadership and growth of Hireup's Disability business, leading critical teams involved in delivering attendant care services to our clients and workers nationally.
You are also accountable for the Disability strategic priorities as well as the enablement and quality of service delivered to our clients, workers and community.
You will:
- Lead Hireup's Disability team's, building a culture of high performance, quality and engagement;
- Develop a strong leadership team and empower your people and performance;
- Set and deliver the growth ambitions for Disability, in line with overall company strategy;
- Work with the Executive Leadership Team to shape Hireup's overall strategy;
- In partnership with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, set the strategic direction for Hireup's Disability function;
- Drive transformational change required to deliver above market growth;
- Identify and execute on high priority strategic projects to drive growth, deliver social impact and improve service quality;
- Partner with technology, product and marketing leadership as well as other senior leaders to achieve our business objectives and purpose.
Your Background
You will have:
- Extensive experience in executive leadership, general management or senior leadership roles with a track record of delivering business growth in balance with quality outcomes for clients and workers;
- Experience working within senior leadership roles within the Disability sector;
- Extensive experience in leading operational environments, designing operating strategies and building teams to achieve these goals and meet the needs of our customers;
- Extensive experience as a leader of people leaders and people, leading large scale, distributed teams and driving high performance through others;
- You are a visionary, values-driven leader that possesses the ability to craft and execute a compelling vision for our business;
- You are a practical and action-oriented leader, motivated to both drive performance in others and personally impact through your direct activity;
- You have excellent communication and an innate ability to problem solve and coach people through complex challenges;
- Exceptional commercial acumen with and understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues;
- Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
