Chisholm is seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Senior Business Partner – Assurance for our Safety Governance and Assurance team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the OHS Senior Business Partner – Assurance, your key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the OHS quality assurance program and provide support to address identified audit improvement opportunities. Safety Champion knowledge will be an advantage.
- Collaborate with People Leaders across Chisholm where they are facilitating projects, providing expert OHS advice, guidance and support to ensure best practice and application of OHS statutory obligations.
- Maintain documents and records, as well as other compliance registers, ensuring governance adherence
- Support the development and review of documents relating to Chisholm's Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- Ensure timely resolution of non-compliance issues and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Provide information to OHS Leadership, for incidents requiring notification to the Regulator.
- Provide mentoring, direction and support to Chisholm management and employees in their understanding and application of OHS systems and processes.
- Provide timely advice and reports to Chisholm management and committees on HSW matters.
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive OHS training and education in best practices for employee health and safety with Chisholm management and employees.·
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with People Leaders and employees across Chisholm.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well- proven competency in the provision of expert OHS management, quality management systems, or a related field in a complex, multi-risk environment.
Qualifications required for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field, or subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of knowledge, training, and experience.
- Certified Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner (or higher) with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety or willingness to obtain certification ).
