About the role

We're seeking a highly capable Senior Storeperson to take ownership of warehouse and operations and play a central role in supporting three departments of Dispatch, Procurement, and Factory Management. This position is ideal for a hands-on, experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and system updates.
  • Coordinate closely with Procurement to monitor stock levels and ensure timely reordering.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatch team to prepare and fulfill outbound orders.
  • Ensure raw materials are delivered to the production floor on time and in full.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse in line with OH&S standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with the Factory Manager to ensure timely availability of materials required for production.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' warehouse or Storeperson experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Forklift license – current and valid (essential).
  • Proven experience with inventory management systems.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse workflows, stock control, and dispatch processes.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments (highly regarded).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, inventory software).
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
