Seeking long-term career stability in a dynamic, supportive environment? Join the Jape team and grow with us—your future starts here.
Join the team at the Jape Homemaker Village as our new Property Manager, where your leadership will shape the daily experience of tenants, contractors, and customers alike. You'll coordinate contractors, oversee compliance, and ensure the centre is safe, clean, and welcoming. With strong systems in place, you will also maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and contribute to continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and confident working independently or work with the property team. If you have excellent communication skills, solid Excel proficiency, and thrive in fast-paced settings, we would love to hear from you and get to know you. Position is open for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Management Coordinate all maintenance activities, liaise with contractors and tenants, schedule works, and ensure compliance with WHS and company standards.
Maintenance Administration Maintain accurate records in the Property Task Management Program (TMP), manage invoices, update design records, and monitor expenditure.
Centre Operations Oversee daily operations including cleaning, gardening, security, and waste collection. Supervise support staff, maintain high presentation standards, and manage tenant and customer interactions to ensure a safe, welcoming, and responsive environment.
Project Support Assist with CAPEX and modification works, including contractor liaison, scheduling, and project administration.
Compliance & Safety Support WHS monitoring and ensure all contractors are inducted and compliant with insurance and safety requirements.
General Support Assist with events, cross-company coordination, and respond to after-hours calls as required.

- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, especially in fast-paced property environments
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience managing contractors, with proven ability to coordinate maintenance and service delivery
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data tracking, and reporting
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in property or facilities management, ideally within retail or commercial settings
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with tenants, contractors, and internal teams
- A self-motivated approach—able to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team
