The role

Due to the continuous growth of our organisation, our recruitment team is growing too We are seeking a proactive and forward-thinking Talent Acquisition Team Leader, to lead our team of volume recruiters and be a part of the exciting times ahead.

You will lead a collaborative team of high performing, positive and passionate individuals, and you will help drive their growth and success @ A&G.

The TA Team Leader is responsible overseeing the day-to-day operations of the recruitment process, ensuring team performance, and driving workforce planning strategies to meet organizational hiring needs. You will work closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive recruitment experience.

What you will do

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of recruiters to achieve hiring goals.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Ensure team adherence to recruitment policies, procedures, and timelines.

2.     Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve recruitment processes.
  • Analyse recruitment data and metrics to assess team performance and effectiveness.
  • Continuously refine sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques to increase efficiency (UKG, Criteria and other systems)

3.     Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with HR business partners, hiring managers, L&D, WFP and other stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with organizational needs.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open roles and recruitment progress and overall frontline metrics
  • Manage relationships with external partners and agencies including feedback on performance, quarterly reviewing meetings and collaborative partnerships

4.     TA Strategy

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring positions are filled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent across various job levels.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Key requirements include:

  • Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders using a diplomatic and consultative approach
  • Previous direct leadership experience is not a must, but demonstrable leadership capability will be essential (e.g. leading projects, initiatives or process improvement)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work alongside senior leaders within the business to deliver on recruitment objectives
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and improve recruitment processes.
