About the role

As a Trade Assistant Construction all rounder at Blue Star Pools, you will be a key member of the team, providing vital support to our skilled tradespeople. This full-time position is based in Welshpool  and offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of construction and maintenance tasks. PLEASE NOTE: Applications only accepted through SEEK.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting tradespeople with the installation, repair and maintenance of swimming pools and associated equipment
  • Performing general labouring duties such as site preparation, material handling, and clean-up
  • Operating machinery and tools safely and effectively
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
  • Maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail in your work
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture

What we're looking for

  • Must have own transport
  • Live within 10km of Welshpool
  • Some previous experience in a construction or maintenance role, ideally within the trades and services industry
  • A keen interest in learning new skills and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the desire to contribute to the success of the team
