Trade Assistant

Quest Personnel is seeking a motivated Trade Assistant who is interested in completing a CNC apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in CNC machining while working alongside experienced tradespeople.
Location:
Welshpool, WA
Roster:
Monday to Friday - (Approx. 38 Hours per week) - Afternoon Shift
Pay Rate:$37 / hour + Penalties + Super
About the Role:
- Assist with general workshop duties including material handling, machine setup, tool preparation, and maintenance
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople to gain practical experience in CNC operations
- Participate in a CNC apprenticeship program
What We're Looking For:
- Interest in pursuing a CNC apprenticeship
- Previous experience in a mechanical, metal, or workshop environment (preferred but not essential)
- Good work ethic and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Your own vehicle and driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Full-time working rights in Australia
