Job Opportunity:
Project Coordinator (Short-Term Contract) – Melbourne CBD

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support a high-impact ICT delivery project for one of our premium clients based in Melbourne. This is a short-term contract role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is ready to hit the ground running.

– Minimum 3 days onsite in Melbourne CBD

Must-Have Requirements

The following are essential for consideration:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience providing project coordination services on ICT delivery projects
  • Full working rights in Australia

You will be a good fit for the role if you have the following skills & experience:

  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects within a program of work
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Skilled in scheduling, setting agendas, and capturing minutes/actions from project meetings
  • Experience maintaining issue and risk logs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • High attention to detail in complex data entry (manual data migration)
  • Experience with training administration (e.g., scheduling, attendance tracking)
  • Familiarity with MS Project and/or reporting tools like Zeno
  • Experience working in a government services environment, especially within the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing
  • Knowledge of financial management (e.g., budget tracking, reporting on spend vs actuals)
  • Experience contributing to project reporting, including status updates and steering committee packs
