Perth, Western Australia Strive Together WA Inc Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

About Strive

Founded in 1996 as Landsdale Family Support Association Inc., our original purpose was to provide respite camps for children with disabilities at Landsdale Farm School. In 2009 we changed our name to Family Support WA Inc, as we expanded our services to include young adults. Over the last 29 years we have grown to provide several services to people of all ages with disabilities, as well as now operating the Landsdale Farm located in the northern metropolitan suburb of Darch. We are called Strive Together WA Inc. to better reflect the wide range of services we provide in the community.

About the Opportunity

Are you a detail-driven professional who thrives on building strong governance systems that protect both people and organisations? We are seeking a Quality, Risk and Compliance Manager to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Strive's quality and compliance frameworks. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Executive Management Team, you will partner with our Disability Services team and the Manager, Farm Operations to ensure compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, Work Health and Safety Act 2020, and any other relevant codes of practice, legislation, and regulatory obligations.

This role combines strategy and operations, balancing the oversight of risk management systems with practical guidance to staff and leaders. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding service quality, driving a culture of accountability and transparency, and ensuring that Strive continues to deliver safe, person-centred, and innovative supports to our community.

This is a full-time position based at the Strive Head Office in Darch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of Strive's Quality, Risk, and Compliance framework.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, relevant legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee incident management, risk registers, audits, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice to the Executive Management Team on governance, policy, and compliance matters.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement through training, policy development, and organisational learning.
  • Monitor trends, identify risks, and implement proactive strategies to strengthen service delivery and safety.
  • Coordinate preparation for internal and external audits, quality reviews, and accreditation processes.

Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior quality, risk, or compliance role, ideally within the NDIS, health, or community services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cultural change and embed compliance as a shared organisational responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage staff, management, and external stakeholders.
  • High level of organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

What We Offer

Working with Strive Together WA and Landsdale Farm means joining a for-purpose organisation where your work ensures services are safe, effective, and sustainable. We offer:

  • Generous tax-free salary packaging benefits, allowing you to package up to $18,550 annually to increase your take-home pay.
  • 5 weeks of leave to support work-life balance.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Free on-site parking at our idyllic Landsdale Farm location.

Be part of a unique for-purpose workplace where governance, care, and community come together and where your expertise directly supports better outcomes for people living with disability.
