The Role
You will be called on to manage our clients' ER and IR issues. You will be speaking to clients over the phone, and each day can be very different. You might be reviewing/drafting contracts and policies, case managing employment issues such as restructures and redundancies, disciplinary processes and terminations and much more. No two days are the same, but we will ensure you are given work that compliments your skills and experience.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have some of the following:-
- 3+ years' experience in a role where you have been either a HR Business Partner, consultant, HR Manager, ER/IR specialist or workplace relations advisor.
- It'd be great if you have case management experience, but that we can teach you if not.
- Some knowledge of Australian employment law and Modern Award framework, although you don't have to be able to recite all 121 awards word for word, knowing how they are administered and classified would be good.
- A pragmatic and commercial approach to providing advice (both written and verbally)
- Qualifications in Law or HR/ER is desirable
- Ability to work in a fast paced and client-centric environment
- Self-motivated with a desire to be the best practitioner you can be
