  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, guiding strategic decisions and shaping high-profile initiatives.
  • Develop and implement scalable frameworks for event and program planning.
  • Manage all event and program logistics, including venue booking, catering, AV setup, and transportation.
  • Own financial governance for events and programs, including budget approval, tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, and partnership strategies.
  • Ensure effective risk management and compliance with Qantas Group policies.
  • Coach and develop staff, driving high performance and successful outcomes.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale events and programs.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced budget management, forecasting, and cost control abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with vendors and partners.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
