About the role

As the Executive Officer to the Executive General Manager of Endeavour Foundation's Home and Community division, you will play a key role in driving the division's strategic and operational outcomes. This position sits at the heart of executive decision-making, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives that support individuals with disability. You'll work closely with senior leaders to ensure alignment with organisational priorities, foster effective governance, and enable clear and timely communication across a broad range of stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing high-level executive support, advice and insight to the Executive General Manager
  • Coordinating and preparing executive, board and senior leadership papers and reports
  • Managing governance arrangements and ensuring compliance with organisational requirements
  • Leading the development of correspondence, policy proposals, presentations and briefing materials
  • Monitoring progress of strategic and business plans, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Managing stakeholder engagement and communications, both internal and external
  • Championing operational and financial sustainability through analysis, business cases and recommendations
  • Supporting transformational change, performance-based culture and person-centred practice

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, management or a related field
  • Proven experience working at an executive level within complex organisations
  • Strong strategic thinking, organisational and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • High-level analytical ability, including advanced use of Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong problem-solving and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience in disability, community, aged care or health sectors is highly desirable
