About the role

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Gold Coast Lung and Sleep Clinic in Southport, Queensland. This is for now a casual position starting with 3 days a week but likely to be expanded depending on the availability & performance

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and professional manner
  • Efficiently managing patient bookings, scheduling appointments and maintaining the clinic's appointment calendar
  • Handling patient enquiries, both in-person and over the phone, with excellent customer service
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate medical records and patient files
  • Assisting with general administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for working in the healthcare industry
