About the role

Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Development Specialist' is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis in Southport, QLD. In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative functions of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling enquiries
  • Assisting with billing, payment processing, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times
  • Providing administrative support to the medical team as required
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all practice policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other office technology
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the medical team
  • Relevant qualifications in medical administration or customer service would be highly regarded
