The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and integrated Salesforce platform solutions that meet business needs across multiple clouds. The role ensures technical alignment between business requirements, Salesforce architecture, and enterprise systems, while maintaining platform best practices and governance across a large, multi-cloud Salesforce environment.
Day to day:
- Define and maintain end-to-end Salesforce architecture across multiple clouds and integrated systems
- Partner with business and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs
- Govern platform standards, reusable patterns, and integration frameworks
- Review and guide solution design, configuration, and code to ensure alignment with best practices
- Drive technical design reviews, data modelling, and security architecture
- Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance
- Mentor developers and admins, embedding architecture discipline across teams
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
- 8–10 years Salesforce experience, including 3–5 years as a Solution Architect
- Proven experience designing solutions for large, multi-cloud orgs (3,000+ users)
- Strong expertise in integrations (APIs, middleware, external systems) and data modelling
- Experience with OmniStudio and Loyalty/LMS integrations highly regarded
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification preferred
- Ability to influence technical direction and drive platform governance across large stakeholder groups
- Clear communicator who balances architectural vision with practical delivery
