Are you a visionary Director with a passion for digital transformation and customer-centric innovation? Revenue NSW is seeking a dynamic and inclusive executive to steer the delivery of high-impact digital products and services that touch the lives of millions across the state. This role is pivotal in shaping how we design, deliver, and scale digital products that make a real difference in people's lives.
Digital Fines and Debt purpose and vision: To provide a suite of contemporary digital services that allow fines and debt customers to interact with Revenue NSW easily – anywhere and anytime. We do this in line with legislation and industry best practices, collecting revenue for the state in a fair, efficient, and timely manner.
As Director Digital Products & Services Fines and Debt, you will drive this purpose and vision, by guiding the strategic direction and delivery of a diverse portfolio of digital services, lead high-performing product teams, and champion new ways of working that improve outcomes for customers and communities.
- This is a senior executive role with significant scope and influence. You will:
- Head up a team of up to 10 direct reports and a broader team of over 100 professionals across 8 product squads.
- Oversee the delivery of more than 70 digital products and services, ensuring they are resilient, secure, scalable, and customer-focused.
- Manage the full product lifecycle—from discovery and design to delivery, optimisation, and retirement.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable product roadmaps that deliver measurable value.
- Drive the modernisation of major legacy systems, balancing day to day operations of existing digital products and applications.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in an Agile environment.
- Build strong partnerships across government, industry, and the community to deliver seamless digital experiences.
About You
You are a strategic, inclusive, and delivery-focused leader who brings:
- Extensive experience in digital product delivery, including managing digital operations teams, and leading large transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of digital architecture and legacy modernisation principles, combined with the ability to translate technical complexity into strategic direction.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment across diverse groups and complex environments.
- A product mindset, with a focus on user outcomes, agile delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to guide and motivate high-performing cross functional teams, foster innovation, and manage complex budgets and resources.
- Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced and complex environments, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
- Creative problem-solving and the ability to co-design solutions with stakeholders and colleagues is highly desirable.
